Glenda C. Clausell

Glenda C. Clausell is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.A., History ), the University of St. Thomas (M.L.A.) and an honors graduate (cum laude) of Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University (J.D. ). While at A&M, she had the privilege of being a member of the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets, a Fish Camp Panelist and President of the Lambda Lambda Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Prior to joining Beck & Associates , Glenda practiced at a regional boutique estate planning and probate firm where she handled matters in and around the Houston, San Antonio and Austin areas. As an estates and trust lawyer, she often makes educational presentations on estate planning and probate matters. She has been a speaker for the Texas A&M Foundation’s Women, Wealth and Wisdom Workshops as well as being a board member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association. Glenda is a member of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate Probate and Trust Law Section where she was selected to its inaugural Leadership Academy Class and was voted Mrs. Congeniality She has served as a volunteer legal counsel for the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and has been a participant and fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, March of Dimes and St. Jude. Glenda has served in various capacities for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and is currently its Southwestern Region Legal Advisor. She also serves as a Gubernatorial Appointee (Public Member) on the Texas Physical Therapist Examiners Board. She is married and has a lovable German Short-haired Pointer.

James “Randy” Beck, Managing Partner

Randy received his law degree from the University of Houston Law School in 1983 and he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston as well. He is a native Houstonian and Randy has been Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1997. His practice concentrates in many aspects of Family Wealth Preservation and Planning. More precisely, his practice includes the use of many types of Wills, Trusts and business entities such as Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships to provide estate planning, asset protection planning and strategic gifting for individuals and families. When a loved one dies, Randy gently helps those left behind through the probate and estate administration process. Most recently, Randy was recognized again in Texas Monthly as one of the Five Star Professionals in Estate Planning based on outstanding client service, integrity, knowledge, expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting the financial objective, post-sale service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction. In addition, he has been the featured speaker and expert on many estate planning and related topics for numerous groups including Exxon Mobil, Smith Industries, Northwest Harris County Bar Association, Rotary, bank business development boards, radio stations, churches, schools, and various business and civic groups. Randy is also married, has two adult sons and two grandchildren.

Montague Morgan, Partner

Montague received his law degree from South Texas College of Law earning several honors, including being named the 2006 Lindsey Haid graduate. This award is conferred by the South Texas faculty to the graduate they recognize for exemplary individual leadership, an appreciation of life, and promising legal ability. Preceding law school, Montague received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Houston. Prior to joining Beck & Associates, Montague practiced across a wide range of transactions and cases.  While working with a variety of different clients on complex transactions and lawsuits, Montague developed a passion for estate planning, probate and asset protection.  Montague’s passion ultimately led him to establishing his previous firm’s estate planning and probate section. Although Montague now concentrates his practice in estate planning, probate and asset protection, his experience in handling business transactions exceeding $40 million, sophisticated commercial lawsuits, formation of entities, and over a thousand real property transactions, offers him unique insight from a multitude of perspectives.  All of which has proved very beneficial to his clientele. Montague is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  As an estate planning and probate attorney at Beck and Associates, Montague strives to provide each of his clients, from varying financial backgrounds, with clear, concise, and attentive guidance.  Whether it be establishing a gift trust or probating a loved one’s will, Montague remains extremely focused on each of his client’s goals and always appreciates the impact his work has on each of his clients and their families. Larry P. Lightfoot

Larry obtained his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1996 after graduating from Texas A& M with a double major and earning an MBA from Southwest Texas State University. He is also a member of the Order of the Lytae, an honorary fraternity at South Texas College of Law which recognizes outstanding academic achievement. Larry received his Masters in Taxation in 1998 from the prestigious New York University. In addition, Larry holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant, and he has been Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2005. Larry focuses his practice in many phases of Family Wealth Planning and Preservation. Specifically, this includes business and estate planning, asset protection planning and strategic gifting through the use of many types of Wills, Trusts and business entities such as Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships. In addition, his practice involves helping loved ones through the process of probate and estate administration. Christina A. Schuler

Christina A. Schuler Christina is a native Houstonian and obtained her law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2012 after graduating from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management. She began her legal career as a file clerk during her senior year of high school and continued working through law school as a paralegal. Prior to joining Beck & Associates, Christina practiced at a boutique estate planning and probate firm in Bellaire, Texas. During her time at the firm, she discovered her passion for helping clients navigate the often difficult and emotional probate process. In addition to her professional experience, Christina is also a published contributor to “The Texas Probate System,” a manual published by the State Bar of Texas, currently in its 4th edition. As an attorney with Beck and Associates, Christina continues to enhance her knowledge in the area of estate planning and probate in an effort to better assist her clients. Christina is married and has one step-son. Christina is also an avid animal lover, who often fosters dogs for various rescue groups in the Houston area much to the joy of her mini-doxie and the dismay of her ill-tempered blind cat.
